Quick and surprisingly delicious

Danny Mullaney’s Raisin Sauce (for ham)

Difficulty: Beginner Prep Time 15 mins Total Time 15 mins

  1. Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan.  Heat over a low flame, stirring often.  The sauce will thicken when it reaches a boil.

This makes about 1 C of raisin sauce and can easily be doubled or tripled.

If you use pineapple, save the juice and use it in place of some of the water.

You can mix the ingredients the day before and keep refrigerated.  Heat to a boil when dinner is ready to thicken the sauce.
