Kate’s Honey-Glazed Chicken Thighs

  1. Directions:
    • Combine honey, butter, curry powder and salt in medium sauce pan.
    • Cook, stirring over medium heat until all the ingredients dissolve into a smooth sauce, about 3 minutes. 
    • Cool.
    • While sauce is cooling, remove skin from chicken and divide chicken evenly among freezer bags.  
    • Divide cooled sauce evenly over the chicken.
  2. Seal and freeze (this dish requires freezing before cooking).

  3. To cook:
    • Thaw one bag in the refrigerator just long enough to remove from freezer bag.
    • (Cooking still frozen chicken allows sauce to caramelize without being overcooked).
  4. Preheat oven to 350.

    • Place frozen chicken in an ungreased baking dish.
    • Bake 45 minutes.
    • Remove dish from oven and separate chicken pieces into single layer, placing pieces meaty side down to keep moist.
    • Bake 1 1/2 hours longer, until sauce is brown, thick and sticky.
